A winegrowing on the ground thin, silico-argillaceous, very stony, where the southern exposure full to semi-slope makes it possible to obtain wines of very great quality. One matures wines of tradition here, proposing a range of vintages over 10 years and more, which is very rare.
Beautiful Madiran 2005, matured very well out of barrels, a superb wine, with the nose present with notes of violet and prune, rich color, dense and traditional, which should largely hold its promises. The Tradition vintage is rounder, quite robust, a supple wine which makes it possible to await the evolution of the great wine. Remarkable 2004, powerful, delicate, elegant, with matter, of beautiful vivid color and with the aromas of intense red small fruits (blackcurrant, cherry), of a nice final. Following the last vintages, ones most typified and attractive that others, it there for example this superb 2000. One vintage of very vivid color, very well-balanced, with the complex nose with notes of ripe cherry and humus, of full and intense, warm mouth with these nuances of pepper and blackcurrant jam, a wine not yet with maturity, which continues its very beautiful evolution. At his sides, one also enjoys this exceptional vintage 1990, where one finds all the specificity of what must be Madiran worthy of this name, with an aromatic pallet of a great complexity where the spices prevail. The wine is of beautiful garnet-red robe deep, with the complex nose prevailed by the cooked fruits and of the notes of torrefaction, with ripe tannins and a beautiful concentration, of an evolution. Also taste Pacherenc-of-Vic-Bilh, mixing aromatic richness and persistence, with connotations of hazel nut and apricot, all in charm.
